We are so grateful for this instrument donation that was delivered to the SAISD Repair Shop last month. The SAISD Foundation partnered with Alamo Music Center last year for an instrument drive, and when they received a phone call about a donation from a former music instructor, they immediately thought of us! These thoughtful partnerships make such a difference for our students. Thank you to the Winston Turbeville Estate for making this donation happen and acting so quickly in getting these instruments into the hands of SAISD students. "We are grateful for this donation of instruments. Gifts like these will impact the students in so many ways, most important, giving them the opportunity to have their own instrument to play. This generosity is always welcome and is especially meaningful coming from the estate of a former music educator," said Dr. Peter Alexander Acosta, SAISD Fine Arts Instrumental Music Coordinator.
