New Musical Production Coming to Sam Houston HS

The Sam Houston fine arts department is producing their first musical in over 15 years in their newly renovated auditorium. The Wiz: The Super Soul Musical “Wonderful Wizard of OZ” will showcase the district’s commitment to investing in our students and facilities, and share student talent with the community. The SAISD Foundation awarded Sam Houston with a grant that will underwrite the production costs for the show, helping directors to focus on providing a great musical theatre experience. Rehearsals will begin in March 2022 and the show will open late April or early May.
