Animal Farm – taught me that as you help people and earn their trust along the way… do not abuse that responsibility by forgetting why and for whom you assumed the power you have been given.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Coach Jackson, Burbank H.S. Varsity Basketball – he taught me that being a great leader requires the ability to know when to follow.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Through my education and professional development… being in a position to help and support people and the community.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

Leading and coaching others to reach their professional and personal goals.

Why is education in SAISD important to you?

Education is important to me period! In addition to opening doors of endless opportunities, learning supports a fulfilling life.
