All SAISD Graduating Seniorsare eligible for these opportunities

Emergency Gap

SAISD graduating seniors enrolling in college and currently enrolled college students are eligible to apply for one-time funding to meet an immediate need or gap. We can support things like housing deposits, enrollment and orientation fees, and any barrier that might prevent you from walking on campus the first day of college, or making it to college commencement. Graduating seniors must include CBA’s signature.

Dorm Room Essentials

The SAISD Foundation will provide you with the essentials every college-bound student needs for living in the dorm including items like a bed in a bag, towels, laundry soap, a pillow, a shower caddy, etc. The event takes place annually in July. Students must plan to live in a dorm to be eligible for the giveaway, it does not matter if the dorm is located in or outside of San Antonio.

College Tours

In-State Tours

Campus-based group trips are now available. Gather your friends and have your favorite SAISD staff member (counselor, teacher, coach, etc.) complete the SAISD Foundation transportation request form to visit on university days. These trips are open to all SAISD high school students.

Out-of-State Tours

Exploration group tours are for rising juniors to increase their awareness of college options nationally. To find out about college exploration trips, please contact your college bound advisor or school counselor.

Enrollment tours are for seniors who have been accepted and plan on enrolling. The purpose of these trips is to help confirm that this institution is the right fit for you and your family.
