Class of 2024College-bound graduates, regardless of receiving a scholarship, are eligible for these opportunities through the SAISD Foundation.

Emergency Gap

SAISD graduating seniors enrolling in college and currently enrolled college students are eligible to apply for one-time funding to meet an immediate need or gap. We can support things like housing deposits, enrollment and orientation fees, and any barrier that might prevent you from walking on campus the first day of college, or making it to college commencement. Graduating seniors must include CBA’s signature.

Emergency gap applications submitted through Foundant must use the code

Remote Mentor

Mentors can be your own personal champion and someone who is in your corner. They have been through the college experience and can help you make the transition from high school to college a little easier. If you are matched with a mentor, you will meet with them once a month and participate in periodic SAISD Foundation events. Please indicate in your scholarship application if you would like to be matched with a mentor. Mentor matching will happen in May.

Dorm Room Essentials

The SAISD Foundation will provide you with the essentials every college-bound student needs for living in the dorm including items like a bed in a bag, towels, laundry soap, a pillow, a shower caddy, etc. The event will take place in July 2024. You will be contacted via email whether you receive a scholarship or not, to RSVP for the event. You must complete a scholarship application to be eligible to receive the email and you must be living in a dorm to be eligible for the giveaway.
