Here to support even afterGraduation

Our vision at the SAISD Foundation is that every student and teacher thrives in SAISD public schools.

We fund a number of programs that support students in reaching their workforce and college goals after they leave our schools.

College Alumni Ambassadors

We’re thrilled to introduce the SAISD College Alumni Ambassador Program for the 2025-2026 school year! This exciting initiative aims to foster a strong sense of belonging for new SAISD college students through on-campus connections and mentorship by existing SAISD Alumni who are 3rd or 4th years. As an incoming freshman and a valued SAISD alumni, we couldn’t be prouder to see you take this significant step towards a brighter future. This program will provide you with the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, create a supportive community, and pave your path to success in college and beyond. Young Alumni Update

Jennifer Fuentes | Lanier High School, ’18

My dedicated SAISD educators served as my compass. They offered direction and guidance on a path of academic and lifelong success.

Santiago Hernandez | Jefferson High School, ’21

We feel education gave us a huge advantage in life, it helped us succeed in our careers, so we want to give students that opportunity.

Santiago Hernandez | Jefferson High School, ’21

It’s important to stay connected, if you went to SAISD schools; to be a mentor, contribute in any way you can so we can help students and families that are attending now, I think it is our responsibility and duty to do that.
